Avenoferm HF fermented oat-derived ingredient for aqueous cosmetic and multifunctional formulation systems
Avenoferm HF is a fermented oat-based functional ingredient developed for integration into aqueous and emulsion-based formulations. It is used in cosmetic systems, professional SPA applications, functional serums, hair care products and industrial formulations where compatibility between fermented botanical materials and multi-component systems is required.
In formulation technology, Avenoferm HF functions as a water-compatible active designed for advanced formulations containing multiple hydrophilic ingredients. The fermented structure allows efficient dispersion within the aqueous phase while maintaining compatibility with complex formulation systems. It is commonly incorporated into formulations intended to achieve stable phase balance without adding unnecessary density to the final texture.
In cosmetic applications, Avenoferm HF is used in serums, creams, lotions, gels and hair-focused formulations. In hair care systems, it is incorporated into the water phase alongside amino acid complexes, protein ingredients and botanical extracts. In SPA-oriented products, it is used in concentrated treatment solutions and professional care systems. In industrial applications, it may form part of multifunctional aqueous concentrates. Within advanced formulations, it combines effectively with hyaluronic acid systems, polysaccharides and fermented botanical ingredients.
Functionally, Avenoferm HF behaves as a fermented aqueous-phase component that supports uniform ingredient distribution throughout the system. In formulations containing multiple active materials, it contributes to maintaining phase consistency and compatibility between ingredients. When introduced correctly, it does not interfere with the structure of gel systems or emulsified formulations.
During formulation, the ingredient is introduced into the water phase under moderate temperature conditions or during the cooling stage of processing. It is compatible with glycerin, beta glucan, panthenol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid systems and mild preservative blends. In transparent systems, monitoring pH balance and ingredient addition sequence is recommended to maintain formulation stability.
Usage level is defined according to technical formulation requirements and adjusted based on product structure and targeted system performance.
Example formulation: Aqueous serum with fermented oat complex
Purified water 71 ml
Avenoferm HF 4 g
Glycerin 5 g
Hyaluronic acid solution 1% 10 ml
Panthenol 3 g
Beta glucan 2 g
Preservative 1 g
pH adjuster 4 g
Process: introduce Avenoferm HF into purified water under continuous mixing until evenly dispersed. Add glycerin, hyaluronic acid solution and beta glucan sequentially while maintaining agitation. After stabilization, incorporate panthenol and preservative. Adjust pH and continue mixing until the serum reaches a homogeneous state before filling.
Example formulation: Gel emulsion with fermented oat ingredient
Purified water 66 ml
Avenoferm HF 4 g
Glycerin 5 g
Xanthan gum 0.8 g
Niacinamide 3 g
Oat hydrosol 10 ml
Panthenol 3 g
Preservative 1 g
pH adjuster 7 g
Process: pre-disperse xanthan gum in glycerin and introduce into water to create a stable gel base. Add Avenoferm HF and oat hydrosol with controlled mixing until fully integrated. After stabilization, incorporate niacinamide, panthenol and preservative. Perform final pH adjustment and continue mixing until complete uniformity is achieved before filling.
Avenoferm HF is used in formulations requiring integration of fermented oat-derived components into stable aqueous and emulsion systems while maintaining compatibility, balanced dispersion and formulation consistency across cosmetic and multifunctional applications.
