Blueberry aromatic extract as a sensory functional ingredient for stable formulation systems and industrial production
Blueberry aromatic extract is a high-stability cosmetic raw material designed as a functional fragrance ingredient for formulation systems across multiple industries. It is based on aromatic compositions that replicate the natural blueberry profile with fresh, sweet and slightly acidic notes. In B2B applications it is used not only to provide fragrance but also to define the sensory identity of a product.
From a formulation perspective, the ingredient demonstrates excellent compatibility with aqueous, gel, emulsion and alcohol-based systems. It disperses evenly and does not affect transparency or structural stability. This ensures predictable performance in industrial manufacturing and contract production.
The aromatic profile remains stable during storage and under moderate thermal conditions. Best performance is achieved when the ingredient is added during the cooling phase of formulation. It does not significantly impact viscosity and remains compatible with surfactants, emulsifiers and active ingredients.
Properties and functional role
Acts as a functional fragrance ingredient that defines sensory perception and enhances product experience. Compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients.
Properties and result
Provides uniform fragrance distribution and long-lasting aroma. Reduces evaporation rate and maintains intensity.
The result is a stable formulation with consistent sensory performance.
Purpose
Used in shampoos, shower gels, creams, serums and SPA products. Applied in cleaning and fragrance systems as well as in nutraceutical and food-related applications where allowed.
Application
Added during cooling stage or to finished formulation. Can be combined with solubilizers for better dispersion.
