Product Description
Syn-Hycan peptide component for elastic cosmetic systems and formulation texture enhancement
Syn-Hycan is a synthetic peptide ingredient used in cosmetic formulations as a functional component to improve structure and texture performance. The ingredient is compatible with aqueous, gel and emulsion systems and integrates easily into complex formulations. It is used in serums, creams, gels and fluid products where stability and uniform distribution of components are required. Syn-Hycan is suitable for skin care and body care formulations and can be combined with other active ingredients. Due to its reproducibility and formulation stability it is widely used in laboratory development, private label production and industrial manufacturing.
Properties and formulation behavior
In cosmetic formulations Syn-Hycan contributes to soft and elastic textures. In emulsions it supports structural stability and uniformity. In gel and aqueous systems it creates transparent and consistent textures. In serums it provides smooth application and even distribution. Finished products deliver a balanced sensory profile with comfortable skin feel.
Applications across industries
Syn-Hycan is used in cosmetic manufacturing in creams, serums, gels, fluids and lotions. In skin care it is applied in facial and body formulations. In hair care it is used in conditioning systems and scalp treatments. In SPA applications it is used in professional formulations. In pharmaceutical development it is used as a formulation component. In nutraceutical and functional product systems it is used as a functional ingredient. The ingredient is widely used in private label development, contract manufacturing and industrial production.
Recipe for moisturizing cream gel
Distilled water - 60 ml
Aloe hydrosol - 20 ml
Glycerin - 6 ml
Syn-Hycan - 3 g
Jojoba oil - 8 ml
Emulsifier - 5 g
Cosmetic preservative - 1 ml
Preparation process
Distilled water is combined with aloe hydrosol to form the aqueous phase. Glycerin is added and mixed until uniform. In a separate vessel the oil phase is prepared by mixing jojoba oil with emulsifier and heating until uniform. The oil phase is incorporated into the aqueous phase under mixing to form an emulsion. Syn-Hycan is added during the cooling stage and evenly distributed. Finally the preservative is introduced and the formulation is mixed until a stable cream gel suitable for cosmetic manufacturing is obtained.
