Product Description
Syn-Hycan peptide ingredient for moisturizing and structural cosmetic formulations
Syn-Hycan is a synthetic peptide component used in cosmetic formulations as a functional ingredient to improve structure and texture performance. The ingredient is compatible with aqueous, gel and emulsion based systems and can be easily incorporated into serums, creams, fluids and gels. It provides uniform distribution of components and formulation stability. Syn-Hycan is used in skin care and body care formulations as well as in complex systems with multiple active ingredients. Due to its stability and reproducibility it is widely applied in laboratory development, private label production and industrial manufacturing.
Properties and formulation behavior
In cosmetic formulations Syn-Hycan contributes to light and uniform textures. In emulsions it supports structural stability. In serums and gels it creates smooth consistency and even application. In aqueous systems it maintains homogeneity and stability. Finished products provide a balanced sensory profile with smooth distribution.
Applications across industries
Syn-Hycan is used in cosmetic manufacturing in creams, serums, gels, fluids and lotions. In skin care it is applied in facial and body formulations. In hair care it is used in conditioning systems and scalp products. In SPA applications it is used in professional treatments. In pharmaceutical development it is used as a formulation component. In nutraceutical and functional product systems it is used as a functional ingredient. The ingredient is widely used in private label development, contract manufacturing and industrial production.
Recipe for gel serum formulation
Distilled water — 70 ml
Cornflower hydrosol — 15 ml
Glycerin — 7 ml
Syn-Hycan — 3 g
Xanthan gum — 1 g
Panthenol — 2 ml
Cosmetic preservative — 1 ml
Preparation process
Distilled water is combined with cornflower hydrosol to form the aqueous phase. Glycerin is added and mixed until uniform. Xanthan gum is dispersed to create a gel structure. Syn-Hycan is incorporated and evenly distributed. Panthenol is added and mixed until homogeneous. Finally the preservative is introduced and the formulation is mixed until a stable gel serum suitable for cosmetic manufacturing is obtained.
