Product Description
Fig Extract Powder botanical ingredient for cosmetic formulations and functional plant systems
Fig Extract Powder is a concentrated botanical ingredient obtained from Ficus carica fruit through extraction followed by drying of the extract. The powder format preserves plant compounds and provides convenient technological use in cosmetic formulations. The ingredient is widely used as a botanical component in modern skincare systems.
The powder disperses well in aqueous and glycol based systems which allows integration into gels, lotions, serums and cream emulsions. The dry format simplifies storage and transportation and allows accurate dosing during formulation development. Fig Extract Powder is compatible with botanical ingredients, moisturizing agents and functional cosmetic actives. Due to formulation stability the material is used in laboratory research and industrial cosmetic manufacturing.
Properties and skin performance
In cosmetic formulations Fig Extract Powder creates a soft botanical sensory profile and integrates well into plant based skincare systems. When dispersed in aqueous formulations the ingredient distributes evenly within the formulation matrix. In cream emulsions it supports balanced texture and maintains stability of the cosmetic system.
Industry applications
Fig Extract Powder is used in facial creams, skin gels, serums, masks and lotions. The ingredient is incorporated into shampoos and hair care products. It is used in SPA cosmetic products and botanical skincare lines. The powder format allows use in dry cosmetic blends and powder mask formulations. The material is suitable for private label development, contract manufacturing and scalable industrial cosmetic production. It is also used in functional food and technological systems.
Formula example botanical facial gel mask
Purified water 680 ml
Glycerin 50 g
Propanediol 45 g
Fig Extract Powder 12 g
Carbomer 4 g
Panthenol 12 g
Betaine 15 g
Tromethamine 3 g
Preservative system 2 g
Carbomer is dispersed in purified water to form the gel base. Fig Extract Powder is premixed with glycerin and propanediol to create a uniform dispersion. The mixture is incorporated into the gel base while mixing continuously until homogeneous. Betaine and panthenol are added and mixed thoroughly. Tromethamine is introduced to adjust pH and stabilize the gel structure. Finally the preservative system is incorporated and mixing continues until a uniform gel mask formulation is obtained.
Fig Extract Powder is positioned for B2B cosmetic manufacturers, formulation laboratories and contract manufacturing facilities. The ingredient supports stability of aqueous formulations, technological compatibility and reproducible industrial production.
