Product Description
Arnica Montana Flowers Dried Botanical Raw Material for Industrial Use
Arnica Montana dried flowers represent a botanical raw material derived from dried Arnica montana flowers used in industrial processing as a functional ingredient. The material is applied in extraction and maceration processes to produce infusions, concentrates and intermediate products for multi-industry manufacturing. It integrates into water, oil and hybrid formulation systems and is widely used in food, cosmetic, fragrance and contract manufacturing sectors. The raw material demonstrates stable behavior during processing and compatibility with various technological systems.
Functional properties and role in formulation
Arnica flowers act as a botanical functional ingredient releasing active compounds during processing depending on the solvent system. Polar compounds are extracted in aqueous systems while lipophilic components are extracted in oil phases. In formulation it serves as a base for extract production. Proper dispersion ensures uniform distribution and improves extraction efficiency. It is compatible with emulsions and used as an intermediate for standardized extract production. It contributes to rheology by increasing density and structural complexity.
Properties and effect on final product
In finished products arnica contributes to texture and structural density. It enhances infusion richness and stability when processed correctly. In cosmetic and food products it supports plant based formulations. In fragrance systems it adds complexity while in SPA and cleaning products it supports natural positioning. Stability is achieved through controlled processing and filtration.
Application
Arnica dried flowers are used in multiple industries. In Food & Beverage they are applied in herbal infusions, functional drinks and flavor systems. In cosmetics they are used as a raw material for extracts and infusions in skincare and hair care. In SPA and aromatherapy they are used in oils and herbal blends. In cleaning they are used in natural formulations. In pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production they serve as botanical raw material. In fragrance industry they are used in compositions. In private label manufacturing they are used as a versatile ingredient.
Recipe Arnica Oil Extract Industrial System
Arnica dried flowers 60 g, refined sunflower oil 440 ml, tocopherol 2 ml. The process starts with grinding the plant material followed by dispersion in the oil phase at approximately 40 degrees to ensure uniform distribution. The mixture is maintained at 45–50 degrees with continuous mixing to extract lipophilic compounds into the oil. After extraction the system is cooled to room temperature and filtered to remove residues. Tocopherol is added below 30 degrees followed by mixing until stabilization, resulting in a stable oil extract suitable for manufacturing.
Manufacturing stability and scalability
The raw material is stable under controlled storage conditions. It is easy to scale due to simple processing. Provides batch consistency and is widely used in B2B manufacturing as a versatile botanical ingredient.
