Carbomer is dispersed in purified water until a homogeneous gel base forms. Glycerin and Isopentyldiol are incorporated with continuous mixing. Panthenol and aloe extract are then blended into the formulation. The pH of the system is adjusted using sodium citrate until a stable gel structure is obtained.
