Soft Pink Pearl Pigment mineral mica pigment for decorative cosmetics and artistic coatings
Soft Pink Pearl pigment is a mineral decorative pigment based on mica platelets coated with interference layers. The particles have a characteristic plate structure which creates soft light reflection and pearlescent optical effect. The material appears as a fine powder with light pink tone and delicate shimmering appearance.
The pigment does not dissolve in water or oils but disperses easily in different formulation bases. Due to the stable mineral structure it can be used in water based, oil based and solid cosmetic systems. Powder format allows convenient storage and precise dosing during formulation development.
The mineral pearl pigment is compatible with cosmetic bases, wax systems, resins and polymer coatings which enables wide industrial application.
Properties and surface appearance
In cosmetic and decorative systems the pigment produces gentle light reflection and soft pearlescent shine. The particles distribute evenly within the product texture creating smooth visual effect.
Finished formulations display delicate pink pearl tone and refined shimmer. The surface appearance becomes smooth and luminous with subtle pink reflection.
Industry applications
Soft Pink Pearl pigment is used in decorative cosmetics including eye shadows, highlighters, blush powders, lip glosses and face powders. The pigment can be incorporated into dry formulations, cream textures and cosmetic gels.
The mineral pigment is also used in soap making, candle production, decorative resins and artistic coatings. It is widely applied in design materials and polymer decorative compositions.
Due to mineral stability the pigment is commonly used in formulation laboratories, private label projects and contract manufacturing of decorative products.
Formula example
Soft Pink Pearl pigment 10 g
White mica 15 g
Cosmetic talc 90 g
Magnesium stearate 12 g
Jojoba oil 6 ml
Talc and white mica are blended until uniform distribution of mineral particles is achieved. The pearl pigment is then incorporated and mixed until homogeneous. Magnesium stearate is added to improve texture and dispersion. Jojoba oil is slowly introduced while mixing until a soft silky powder structure is formed. The result is a decorative mineral powder with delicate pink pearlescent shine.
The pigment is widely used in professional cosmetic formulation and decorative material manufacturing. Mineral stability supports reproducible formulations and scalable production.
