Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS), 50 g

Sodium Coco Sulfate surfactant for shampoo and cleansing products

Sodium Coco Sulfate is a cleansing surfactant derived from coconut fatty acids and widely used in skin and hair care formulations. The ingredient shows good compatibility with other surfactants and formulation components, making it suitable both for industrial cosmetic production and small scale formulation development.

Properties and skin appearance outcome

Sodium Coco Sulfate allows cleansing textures to distribute evenly across skin and hair, supporting soft foam formation and improving washing performance.

In shampoos and shower products the ingredient contributes to a fresh clean feeling after use, while products rinse easily without leaving noticeable residue on the surface.

The component improves formulation performance by generating stable foam and enhancing overall usability of cleansing products.

Application across industries

Sodium Coco Sulfate is used in shampoos, cleansing gels, liquid soaps, bath foams, hand cleansers, scalp care products and other water based cleansing formulations. The ingredient is widely applied in private label projects, contract manufacturing and small cosmetic production lines.

Recipe for gentle daily shampoo

Purified water 58 ml
Sodium Coco Sulfate 22 g
Glycerin 6 ml
Chamomile liquid extract 12 ml
Preservative 2 g

Purified water is placed in a working container and mixing begins. Sodium Coco Sulfate is gradually added with gentle mixing until fully dispersed without excessive foaming. Glycerin is then incorporated, followed by chamomile extract while mixing continues until uniform consistency is achieved. Preservative is added last and mixing continues until stable texture forms. The mixture is left to stabilize and release trapped air before filling.

The formulation is suitable for B2B production and ensures stable results in serial cleansing product manufacturing.
