2. Prepare Phase B: In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine emulsifying wax NF, sweet almond oil, and shea butter. Heat gently to 70-75°C (158-167°F) until all solids are completely melted and clear.
3. Emulsification: Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a stick blender or high-shear mixer. Blend for 3-5 minutes until a uniform, creamy emulsion forms.
4. Cooling and Adding Phase C: Continue mixing intermittently as the lotion cools to around 40°C (104°F). Once cooled, add the Fragrance Oil "Pure Purple Hugo" (Phase C) and mix thoroughly.
5. Add Phase D: Incorporate Vitamin E and your chosen preservative (Phase D). Mix well to ensure even distribution.
6. Final Check and Packaging: Perform a pH check if desired (aim for 4.5-6.5 for skin compatibility). Transfer the finished lotion into clean, sanitized bottles or jars.
