Create your own beautiful and fragrant bar of soap using our "Lilac Dream" Fragrance Oil. This recipe is for a small batch, perfect for beginners.

Ingredients:

• Lye (Sodium Hydroxide): 38 g

• Distilled Water: 95 g

• Coconut Oil: 120 g

• Shea Butter: 50 g

• Olive Oil: 130 g

• Sweet Almond Oil: 40 g

• "Lilac Dream" Fragrance Oil: 4-5 g (1-2% of total oil weight)

Instructions for Use:

• Safety First: Always wear safety goggles and gloves when handling lye. Work in a well-ventilated area.

• Prepare the Lye Solution: Carefully and slowly add lye to the cold distilled water, stirring until it is fully dissolved. The solution will heat up. Set it aside to cool.

• Melt the Oils: In a separate heat-safe container, melt the coconut oil and shea butter. Once melted, add the olive oil and sweet almond oil. Stir to combine.

• Combine and Mix: When both the lye solution and the oils have cooled to a safe temperature (around 40-50°C), slowly pour the lye solution into the oil mixture. Using a stick blender, blend the mixture until it reaches "trace" (a pudding-like consistency).

• Add Fragrance: At light trace, add the "Lilac Dream" Fragrance Oil. Use a stick blender or whisk to mix it in thoroughly.

• Pour and Cure: Pour the soap batter into your mold. Insulate the mold and allow the soap to sit for 24-48 hours. After this time, unmold the soap and cut it into bars. Allow the bars to cure in a cool, dry place for 4-6 weeks.
