Instructions:

1. Prepare Phase A: In a heat-resistant beaker, combine distilled water and glycerin. Slowly sprinkle xanthan gum over the surface while whisking continuously until no lumps remain and the gum is fully hydrated. Heat this mixture to 70-75°C (158-167°F).
2. Prepare Phase B: In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine emulsifying wax NF, sweet almond oil, and shea butter. Heat this mixture to 70-75°C (158-167°F) until all solids are completely melted and clear.
3. Emulsification: Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a stick blender or high-shear mixer. Blend for 2-3 minutes until a stable emulsion begins to form.
4. Cooling & Adding Phase C: Continue to mix intermittently as the lotion cools. Once the temperature drops below 40°C (104°F), add the preservative, Fragrance Oil Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia, and Vitamin E (Phase C).
5. Final Mix & Packaging: Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated and the fragrance is evenly distributed. Adjust pH if necessary (typically between 4.5 and 6.5 for skin products). Pour the finished lotion into clean, sanitized bottles or jars.
