2. In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine the cetearyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, shea butter, glyceryl stearate, and polysorbate 60 (Phase B). Heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring until completely melted.
3. Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a homogenizer or high-shear mixer until a smooth emulsion forms.
4. Continue mixing while allowing the emulsion to cool down to approximately 40°C (104°F).
5. Once cooled, gently fold in the Perfume Accord Fleur Narcotique Ex Nihilo and Vitamin E (Phase C) until evenly distributed.
6. Finally, add the preservative (Phase D) and mix well.
7. Adjust the pH of the final product if necessary (typically between 5.0 and 6.0 for optimal skin compatibility).
8. Transfer the finished body lotion into a clean container.
