A Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Complex Built for Professional Formulations
Optim Hyal in a 100 ml package is a concentrated active ingredient that skincare manufacturers rely on when building serums, creams, gels and sheet masks with pronounced hydrating and restorative properties. This volume is meant for studio-level or small-batch production runs rather than a single trial bottle, where consistency across repeated batches matters as much as the initial formulation quality. The product belongs to the Hyaluronic Acid and Actives for Cosmetic
category, which brings together different molecular forms of the same substance for distinct skincare purposes.
The primary demand for hyaluronic complexes comes from facial and body skincare: hydrating serums, day and night creams, after-sun gels, recovery masks and eye contour treatments. Hair care is another major field, where hyaluronic actives are added to masks and leave-in fluids to improve fiber elasticity and reduce breakage. In color cosmetics manufacturing, such complexes are blended into foundations and primers to reduce the tight, dry feel on skin and enhance a healthy glow. The pharmaceutical and dermatological sectors also use similar compounds in topical gels and dressings to maintain a moist environment supportive of skin barrier recovery, while veterinary care products apply them for coat and skin conditioning in animals.
What sets Optim Hyal apart is the combination of several molecular weights within a single complex, allowing it to act simultaneously on the surface, mid, and deeper layers of skin. Because of this multi-weight design, the product is often used on its own without necessarily requiring additional hyaluronic forms. Still, in professional formulations it is frequently paired with lower molecular weight variants such as Hyaluronic acid 4D Hymagic liquid to enhance penetration, or with oligomeric actives like Oligo-HA – hyaluronic acid 8KDa for an added stimulating effect at the cellular level. To build a denser surface film and deliver an instant smoothing effect, formulators often add High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid
alongside it.
The active complex is best introduced at the final stage of formulation, into the water phase, at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, to avoid degrading the active molecules under heat. Typical usage levels in finished formulas range from 1 to 5 parts per 100 parts of total product mass, depending on the desired concentration and product type. The ingredient is broadly compatible with most emulsifiers, preservatives and botanical extracts, which simplifies integration into existing base formulas. Store the raw material in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and sharp temperature fluctuations, to preserve the stability of the active complex throughout its shelf life.
Lightweight Daily Hydration Serum
Distilled water 72 ml
Optim Hyal 3 ml
Glycerin 4 ml
Niacinamide powder 2 g
Gel-forming emulsifier 2 g
Broad-spectrum preservative 1 ml
Aloe vera extract 4 ml
Fragrance oil 3 drops
Combine
the water with the gel-forming emulsifier and let it hydrate for about 20
minutes at room temperature until a smooth gel base forms. Dissolve the
niacinamide powder into the base, then blend in the glycerin and aloe vera
extract until fully uniform. Once the mixture cools to below 40 degrees
Celsius, add Optim Hyal along with the preservative, stirring gently until
completely dissolved with no visible clumps. Finish with the fragrance oil,
transfer the serum into pump bottles, and allow it to rest at room temperature
for about 24 hours before first use to fully stabilize.
