Warm Beige Shimmer Pigment for Consistent Cosmetic Formulations
Oriental Beige Mica in a 100 gram package is a natural mineral pigment with a soft warm beige tone and gentle pearlescent glow, widely used in the production of color cosmetics, skincare products, as well as in soap making, candle production, and resin art projects. This package size is suited for studio work and small-batch manufacturing, when a maker or small production line needs a reliable supply of colorant without frequent reordering. Like other products in the Mica Powders category, this pigment consists of finely milled mica particles coated with metal oxides, which ensures even dispersion throughout the base and a lasting pearl shine without color migration.
The main application of Oriental Beige mica lies in creating eyeshadows, highlighters, bronzers, lip glosses and other decorative cosmetic products where a natural radiant finish is desired. The pigment is also popular in the formulation of creams, lotions and balms with a subtle shimmer effect, in nail polish production, as well as in household chemistry and craft goods such as resin castings, candles and polymer clay. Thanks to its heat resistance, mica tolerates high temperatures well, so it can be introduced into both cold and hot phases of a formula, including melted wax at around 60-70 degrees or emulsions during the cooling stage below 40 degrees, to avoid disrupting the shimmer structure.
Recommended dosage typically ranges from 0.5 to 5 grams per 100 grams of finished product depending on the desired color intensity and base type. Transparent gel textures and glossy balms need only minimal concentrations, while dense cream bases or soap require higher dosages. The pigment blends well with other mineral colorants, allowing layered depth effects — pairing it with Colorona Oriental Beige Pigment, 100 g
produces a richer, denser shade with a pronounced pearl glow, while for test batches a smaller option works better, such as Colorona Oriental Beige Pigment, 10 g. For cool silvery accents and contrasting transitions, Arctic silver Mica 3 g adds extra depth and a cold highlight to the final product.
Mica should be stored in a dry area at room temperature, in a tightly sealed container protected from direct sunlight and moisture, since contact with water may cause clumping and uneven distribution of the pigment. When storage conditions are respected, the product retains its color stability and flow properties for a long time, making it a convenient raw material for regular use in a workshop or small production facility.
