Emerald-Gold Shimmer Built for Reliable Batch-to-Batch Color
This deep green-gold pearlescent pigment belongs to the Mica Powders range, a collection of mineral shimmer pigments used across cosmetic and craft manufacturing. The 100 gram package sits comfortably in the small-batch and studio production category, giving formulators enough volume to test the shade across several product lines before committing to larger repeat orders.
The strongest demand for pigments like this comes from decorative cosmetics - eyeshadows, cream and gel highlighters, lip glosses, nail lacquers, and pressed powder blends, where a green-gold shimmer adds depth without overwhelming a palette. Beyond cosmetics, the pigment is widely used in resin art and epoxy casting for jewelry, coasters, and tabletop finishes, where an even metallic shift across the cured piece matters. It also shows up in candle making for decorative flecks and dipped finishes, occasionally in soap for a marbled cut effect, and in industries such as automotive detailing, printing inks, and plastic molding where a stable, non-fading shimmer is required at scale.
This mica blends cleanly with other pigments in the catalog, which opens up layered color work. For a warmer, more muted undertone it pairs well with Oriental Beige Mica, while a small addition of Mica Red creates a sharper, warmer contrast within the same formula. For smooth transitions within an emerald-gold family, blending it with Golden Jade Mica works especially well, since the two shades share undertones but differ in shimmer depth.
Recommended dosage depends on the product type: decorative cosmetics typically use 1 to 10 percent of total formula weight, candles and soap generally call for 0.5 to 3 percent, and epoxy resin work usually needs only 0.2 to 2 percent for a visible effect. The pigment should be added at the final stage of production, once the base has cooled below 60-70 degrees Celsius, to avoid dulling the shimmer and to prevent clumping. Thorough manual mixing or low-speed blending is recommended for even dispersion, especially in liquid bases where air bubbles can interfere with the finish.
Store the pigment in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight and humidity fluctuations, to keep the shimmer particles stable and prevent caking. Under proper storage conditions the pigment retains its decorative properties for an extended period, which matters for manufacturers running seasonal collections or repeatable formulas.
Emerald-Gold Cream Eyeshadow Batch
Dimethicone base - 15 g
Candelilla wax - 4 g
Jojoba oil - 6 g

the candelilla wax with jojoba oil over a water bath at around 65 degrees
Celsius, then remove from heat and blend in the dimethicone base until fully
