Product Description
Why Cold-Pressed Olive Oil Remains a Core Ingredient Across Multiple Industries
Olive Oil Extra Virgin is produced by mechanical pressing of olives without heat or chemical processing, which preserves its natural antioxidants, vitamin E and beneficial fatty acids. This grade of oil is widely recognized in the food industry as a base for dressings, sauces and preserves, while also being a key ingredient in cosmetic manufacturing, where it forms the base for creams, balms and body care products. This item belongs to the Liquid Basic Oils category, which brings together vegetable oils of different refinement levels suited to various formulation needs.
The 1 liter packaging fits small cosmetic studios, culinary workshops and home producers who need larger working volumes than single-batch sizes. The oil stores well at room temperature away from direct light and does not require special transport conditions. In cosmetic formulations it is typically introduced during the oil phase blending stage at 60-70 degrees, where it blends smoothly with almost any vegetable oil or wax. It pairs particularly well with lighter textures such as Virgin Coconut Oil Organic, which balances out the heavier feel of olive oil and improves absorption of the finished product.
In hair and skin care formulas olive oil is frequently combined with targeted active oils. Adding Carrot Seed Oil Extra Virgin at up to 5 percent boosts the nourishing profile of the blend and gives finished products a natural warm tone, a combination especially valued in formulas for dry or tired skin. For larger production runs the Carrot Seed Oil Extra Virgin 50 ml pack allows maintaining consistent proportions without frequent restocking.
Beyond cosmetics and food use, olive oil is applied in hand-poured candle making as a softening component and in leather and wood care formulations. Typical dosage in cosmetic emulsions ranges from 5 to 20 percent of the total oil phase weight, depending on the desired texture. The oil should not be heated above 80 degrees to preserve its natural properties, and finished products made with it should be stored in opaque containers at temperatures not exceeding 25 degrees.
