Product Description
Osage Orange Infusion Oil Maclura Pomifera botanical infused lipid for cosmetic spa and oil phase formulation systems
Osage Orange Infusion Oil often referred to as Maclura Pomifera Oil is a botanical infused lipid produced by transferring oil soluble constituents from maclura fruit into a carrier vegetable oil. This infusion creates a complex oil phase that combines the rheological behavior of the base oil with plant derived compounds. As a result Osage Orange Oil is used as a functional raw material in cosmetic formulation systems spa applications aromatic compositions and specialized oil based processes.
From a formulation engineering perspective Maclura Pomifera Oil operates as an enriched lipid medium rather than a simple carrier. During infusion the base oil incorporates botanical fractions which influence how the ingredient performs in emulsions and anhydrous systems. Osage Orange Infused Oil contributes to phase balance distribution of lipophilic components and overall system cohesion making it relevant for multi component formulations.
In cosmetic applications Osage Orange Oil is integrated into creams emulsions body oils serums and conditioning products where a botanical lipid phase is required. In hair care formulations Maclura Pomifera Oil is used in oil complexes and leave in systems. In spa formulations Osage Orange Infusion Oil is applied in massage blends and topical compositions. In fragrance and candle production Osage Orange Oil may be used within the oil phase to support dispersion of aromatic ingredients. In manufacturing environments Maclura Pomifera Oil is applied in formulations that utilize infused plant oils as raw materials.
Functionally Osage Orange Infused Oil contributes to lipid phase formation and affects spreadability viscosity behavior and compatibility of oil soluble ingredients. In emulsions Maclura Pomifera Oil assists in phase integration and stability while in oil blends Osage Orange Oil supports homogeneous mixing. It does not function as a structuring wax or thickener but significantly influences formulation performance.
In formulation practice Osage Orange Oil is added to the oil phase and processed together with other lipids under controlled conditions. Maclura Pomifera Oil is compatible with emulsifiers fatty alcohols waxes and oil soluble actives. Processing at moderate temperatures is recommended to maintain the integrity of the infused components and ensure consistent results.
Usage levels of Osage Orange Infused Oil are defined by formulation requirements and adjusted by the technologist depending on the target system.
