Bulk pistachio oil built for consistent formulation runs
Refined pistachio oil supplied in a 1 liter volume is designed for studios, laboratories and small production lines that require predictable raw material quality and reliable supply between batches. This product belongs to the Liquid Basic Oils category, which gathers base plant oils for professional use across cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Pistachio oil is cold pressed and then refined, removing unwanted impurities and delivering a consistent product suitable for industrial formulations.
The largest global demand for pistachio oil comes from skincare manufacturing: creams, serums, lip balms and body or hair care products. The oil absorbs quickly, leaves no heavy film, and blends well with other plant oils inside emulsions. In decorative cosmetics it is added to lipsticks, foundations and lash or brow care products thanks to its light texture. Pistachio oil also finds use in the food industry as part of oil blends and dressings, while pharmaceutical manufacturers rely on it as a base for ointments and liniments.
In formulations, pistachio oil is frequently combined with other base oils to achieve the desired texture and functional properties. A strong pairing is Sesame Oil 100 ml, which reinforces the nourishing profile of the blend, while a small addition of Refined Turmeric Oil 50 ml can bring a warm tint and antioxidant properties to the recipe. For trial batches and lab testing, the compact Refined pistachio oil, 25 ml is a convenient starting point before scaling up to the liter volume for full production runs.
In cold and warm emulsions, pistachio oil is introduced during the oil phase at 60 to 70 degrees alongside other lipid ingredients, then left to cool before the water phase is added. In anhydrous products it can be blended in while waxes and hard oils are melting, generally not exceeding 65-70 degrees to preserve the fatty acid structure. Recommended dosage in finished cosmetic formulas ranges from 3 to 15 percent depending on the product type: light creams and serums typically need 3-7 percent, while richer balms and oil blends can go up to 15 percent. Store the oil in a tightly sealed container, in a cool dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to maintain its properties throughout the shelf life.
