Laminaria Glycolic Extract as a marine functional ingredient for technological systems and industrial formulations
Laminaria Glycolic Extract is a concentrated marine-derived raw material obtained through glycolic extraction of bioactive compounds from brown algae Laminaria. In B2B manufacturing this functional ingredient is widely used as a source of polysaccharides, amino acids, minerals and organic compounds that integrate into formulation systems and create stable, predictable structures. It is applied in modern formulations where both functionality and stability are required.
From a technological standpoint, the ingredient shows excellent compatibility with aqueous, gel and emulsion systems. It disperses evenly, does not form sediment and maintains formulation integrity when processed correctly. This makes it suitable for industrial manufacturing and contract production environments.
Properties and functional role
Acts as a marine active delivering bioactive compounds into the formulation. Natural polysaccharides support moisture retention and improve texture.
The glycolic base enhances compatibility and allows smooth incorporation into various systems.
Properties and result
Provides stable performance and consistent distribution of active components. It remains stable across storage conditions and maintains functionality throughout product lifecycle.
Enhances sensory profile and structural stability of the formulation.
Purpose
Used in cosmetics, SPA products, household formulations and aromatic systems. In nutraceutical and pharmaceutical processing it serves as a technical ingredient without medical positioning.
May also be used in food-related processes where marine ingredients are applicable.
Application
Applied in creams, gels, serums, shampoos and masks. Used in marine-inspired SPA formulations and mild cleaning systems.
Its liquid glycolic form simplifies dosing and integration into automated production lines.
