A deep lilac shade built for high-volume production lines
The Lilac Obsession liquid ultra pigment in a 1 liter pack is formulated for coloring a wide range of products, including cosmetic emulsions, gels, candle wax, and household chemical formulations. Its high pigment concentration means that even a small dosage of 0.1 to 1 percent of the total base weight delivers a rich and consistent lilac tone, which makes the product cost-effective across large production runs. This pigment belongs to the Pigment Liquid ULTRA Dyes category, designed for smooth and predictable coloring without clumping or uneven spotting.
The primary use of this dye is in industrial and studio-scale manufacturing of skincare and decorative cosmetics such as shampoos, creams, shower gels, bath bombs, lotions, and masks. It is also popular in candle making, scented sachet production, household cleaning products, and select polymer applications where uniform color distribution across large batches is essential. Thanks to its liquid form, the pigment can be easily dosed through automatic and semi-automatic systems on conveyor lines, making the 1 liter format practical for regular, high-volume supply without frequent container changes.
The dye is typically introduced during the liquid phase mixing stage at temperatures ranging from room temperature up to 60-70 degrees Celsius, allowing it to be used in both cold and heated manufacturing processes. Prolonged exposure to higher temperatures should be avoided, as it may reduce the intensity of the shade. Before introducing the pigment into a full production batch, a small test mix is recommended to fine-tune the exact dosage for your specific formula and equipment.
This pigment pairs well with plant-based extracts and moisturizing ingredients, enabling more complex, multifunctional formulations. In creams and gels it is frequently combined with Aloe Extract Concentrate for a soothing effect, as well as with Marshmallow Extract, which adds a smoothing, enveloping texture to the finished product. For formulations targeting tired or dull-looking skin, manufacturers often add Apricot Extract, creating a balanced, revitalizing blend alongside the vivid color.
Store the pigment in a tightly sealed opaque or semi-opaque plastic container at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to keep the shade stable throughout its shelf life. Once opened, use the product within a reasonable timeframe and prevent moisture or debris from entering the container. The 1 liter format is well suited for small and medium production batches, formula testing in labs, and consistent supply for studio workshops that need predictable results from batch to batch.
