Product Description
Oak Bark Glycolic Extract Functional Botanical Ingredient for Industrial Formulation
Oak bark glycolic extract is a botanical extract derived from Quercus cortex using glycol extraction and used as a functional ingredient in industrial systems. It integrates into water based and hybrid formulation systems as an active or intermediate raw material. It demonstrates high compatibility with hydrophilic components, polymers and stabilizers. It is widely used in food production, cosmetics, fragrance and contract manufacturing. Provides stable behavior during processing and uniform distribution.
Functional properties and role in formulation
The extract functions as a botanical functional ingredient distributed in aqueous systems interacting with hydrophilic components. It contributes to homogeneity, structural stability and rheological behavior. Proper dispersion ensures uniform distribution. It is compatible with polymers and stabilizers and used as a base for complex extract systems.
Properties and effect on final product
In finished products it supports uniform texture and stable structure. In liquid systems it maintains consistency. In gels and emulsions it ensures stability. In food systems it contributes to plant based profiles. In SPA and fragrance products it enhances formulation complexity. In cleaning systems it supports natural positioning. Provides stable performance under controlled conditions.
Application
Oak bark glycolic extract is used across industries. In Food & Beverage it is applied in functional beverages and flavor systems. In cosmetics it is used in skincare and hair care. In SPA and aromatherapy it is used in compositions. In cleaning it is used in natural formulations. In pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries it is used as botanical raw material. In fragrance it is used in compositions. In private label manufacturing it is a versatile ingredient.
Recipe Oak Bark Toning Lotion Water System
Oak bark glycolic extract — 70 ml
Sage hydrolate — 390 ml
Propanediol — 30 ml
Glycerin — 10 ml
Preservative system — 3 ml
The process begins with combining hydrolate and propanediol under mixing to form the aqueous phase. Glycerin is added with mixing to stabilize the system. At temperatures below 30 degrees the extract is introduced with uniform dispersion. The preservative system is then added followed by mixing until stabilization. Final mixing results in a uniform lotion with stable structure.
Manufacturing stability and scalability
The extract is stable under controlled storage conditions. It is easily scalable in industrial production. Ensures batch consistency and is widely used as a versatile botanical ingredient in B2B manufacturing.
