A vitamin blend that pairs retinol, tocopherol and linoleic acid for skin renewal
Vitamin AEF Complex brings together three active compounds in a single oil-based formula: vitamin A, vitamin E and vitamin F, dissolved for easy dosing and stability during storage. This combination is in strong demand across skincare manufacturing for face and body products, formulas targeting dry and mature skin, hair and nail strengthening products, as well as household chemistry and hand-repair items used after exposure to detergents. The complex belongs to the vitamins
section, which brings together both single active ingredients and ready-made vitamin blends for various formulation goals.
Retinol in the complex supports cell renewal in the epidermis and improves skin elasticity, tocopherol acts as an antioxidant protecting the oils in the formula from oxidation, and linoleic acid helps restore the lipid barrier and reduce water loss through the skin. Because of this combination, the complex is frequently added to facial creams, serums, lip balms, aftershave products, body oils, hair masks and eyelash or eyebrow conditioning formulas. Typical dosage ranges from 1 to 5 percent of the total product weight, with the exact concentration depending on the intended use and target audience. The complex should be added during the cooling stage of an emulsion or oil phase, at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, to preserve vitamin activity and avoid degradation from heat.
Vitamin AEF Complex pairs well with other active additives from the vitamins section, for example with Vitamin F when a stronger repairing effect is needed for very dry skin, and with Alpha-Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) for extra antioxidant protection of the formula and a longer shelf life of oil phases. For comprehensive hair and scalp care, it makes sense to add Vitamin B6 Powder, which supports metabolic processes in skin cells and works alongside fat-soluble vitamins. The 10 ml size is convenient for home cosmetic making, testing new formulations and small trial batches, when the goal is to evaluate how the active ingredient performs before scaling up to larger production.
Store the complex in a tightly closed container, in a cool dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to prevent oxidation of the oil base and preserve vitamin activity. Once opened, use the contents within the period stated on the packaging and avoid letting moisture get inside the bottle.
Repairing night cream with Vitamin AEF Complex
Shea butter 20 g
Jojoba oil 15 ml
Emulsifying wax 10 g
Vitamin AEF Complex 3 ml
Distilled water 50 ml
Melt
the shea butter, jojoba oil and emulsifying wax together in a water bath until
fully combined, then remove from heat and let the mixture cool to about 40
degrees Celsius. Warm the distilled water separately to a similar temperature,
slowly pour it into the oil phase while stirring continuously until a smooth
cream forms, then blend in the Vitamin AEF Complex once the mixture has cooled
further, transfer the finished cream into a clean jar and let it stabilize for
a few hours before use.
