Product Description
Low Molecular Weight Keratin with Creatine functional ingredient for hair care formulations
Low molecular weight keratin with creatine is a functional protein complex used in development of modern hair care formulations. The ingredient combines hydrolyzed keratin protein components with creatine, creating a formulation ingredient suitable for different cosmetic systems. The low molecular structure allows even distribution of the ingredient in aqueous solutions, gel textures and emulsion formulations. The complex is widely used in development of shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, serums and other hair care formulations. Due to compatibility with many cosmetic ingredients the component is widely used in laboratory formulation development and industrial cosmetic manufacturing. Low molecular keratin with creatine is suitable for private label projects, contract manufacturing and industrial production of hair care products.
Properties and formulation interaction
Within cosmetic formulations low molecular weight keratin with creatine functions as a protein based ingredient integrated into different cosmetic textures. In shampoos, conditioners, masks and serums the ingredient distributes evenly throughout the formulation matrix and becomes part of the formulation system. In aqueous and emulsion systems the ingredient can be easily incorporated into cosmetic formulations.
Applications across industries
Low molecular keratin with creatine is used in development of hair care products including shampoos, conditioners, masks, serums and professional hair care systems. In skin care formulations the ingredient may be incorporated into creams, gels and cosmetic masks. In body care formulations the complex may be used in various cosmetic compositions. In SPA formulations the ingredient may be incorporated into professional cosmetic systems. In formulation laboratories the complex is used in development of protein based cosmetic formulations and ingredient systems.
Recipe for repairing hair mask
Distilled water — 65 ml
Rosemary hydrosol — 15 ml
Glycerin — 6 ml
Low molecular keratin with creatine — 3 g
Panthenol — 4 ml
Nettle extract — 6 ml
Cosmetic preservative — 1 ml
Preparation process
Distilled water is combined with rosemary hydrosol to create the aqueous base of the formulation. Glycerin is incorporated and mixed until evenly distributed. The keratin creatine complex is introduced into the water phase and mixed until fully integrated within the formulation system. Panthenol is added and blended until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Nettle extract is incorporated and the formulation is mixed until a stable hair mask texture suitable for cosmetic manufacturing is obtained. At the final stage the preservative is added and the formulation is blended until a stable cosmetic product ready for production is achieved.
