Amaranth Concentrate for Continuous Batch Manufacturing
Amaranth extract concentrate in a 1 liter pack is built for manufacturers who need a dependable volume of raw material for uninterrupted production runs rather than a one-time trial batch. This product belongs to the Extract Concentrates category, which brings together plant concentrates used across cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical and household chemical manufacturing, and amaranth stands out among them thanks to its notable content of squalene, tocopherols and flavonoids that deliver strong antioxidant and restorative action.
The largest global demand for amaranth concentrate comes from skincare manufacturing, where it is formulated into anti-aging creams, emulsions and serums valued for antioxidant support, as well as into body lotions and toners. It is also widely used in hair care production — shampoos, conditioners and masks — where amaranth helps reinforce hair strand structure and adds natural shine. Another significant field is the food industry, where plant concentrates with strong antioxidant profiles are used in functional beverages and dietary supplements, alongside pharmaceutical applications where such extracts become raw material for capsule formulations and nutraceuticals.
In industrial formulations amaranth concentrate is introduced at the water or water-glycerin phase, after the main emulsion mass has cooled to no higher than 40-45 degrees Celsius, in order to protect the heat sensitive active compounds. Recommended dosage for creams and emulsions ranges from 1 to 5 percent of total mass, for shampoos and conditioners from 2 to 4 percent, while dosage for functional beverages is adjusted individually based on technological trials of the specific product.
Amaranth concentrate blends well with other plant extracts, making it convenient for building multi-component formulas on a conveyor production line. In strengthening hair care lines it is often paired with Corn Silk Extract Concentrate, which adds a mild soothing effect. For sensitive skin lines a combination with Bird Cherry Extract Concentrate works well, while in fragranced lotions and creams with a light floral note amaranth is complemented by Lilac Extract Concentrate, allowing manufacturers to address both skin care performance and a rounded sensory profile at once.
For storage of the liter container a dark cool room away from direct sunlight and sudden temperature shifts is required, and the container should be tightly closed after each use to minimize air exposure and keep the active compounds stable throughout the declared shelf life. When running large batches it is advisable to log concentrate consumption and monitor even distribution throughout the mass, which matters especially when scaling up from lab volumes to full production runs.
