Hydrotensyl Complex multi-level hydrating complex for serums gels and emulsion systems
Hydrotensyl Complex is used as a water-soluble functional active designed to build systems with controlled hydration levels and consistent ingredient distribution. It is applied in cosmetic products, SPA formulations, professional care systems and liquid processing bases where stability of the aqueous environment is required. The ingredient is suitable for serums, gels, creams, masks and lightweight emulsions.
From a formulation perspective, Hydrotensyl Complex is a blend that includes glycogen, honey extract, hydrolyzed elastin, amino acids and components related to the natural moisturizing factor. This combination forms an active environment that supports moisture retention and helps maintain formulation stability. The ingredient is incorporated into the water phase and requires mild processing conditions without excessive heat.
In cosmetic applications, Hydrotensyl Complex is used in products for facial care, body care and eye-area formulations. In hair care systems, it is incorporated into lightweight aqueous and emulsion products for scalp and hair length. In SPA applications, it is used in treatment compositions and masks. In pharmaceutical developments, it may be included in water-based complexes. In production systems, it is used to support stability of liquid formulations.
Functionally, the complex distributes evenly throughout the system and creates a stable hydrating environment. It does not significantly affect viscosity or structure but contributes to coordinated interaction of ingredients. It is compatible with glycerin, betaine, amino acids, protein derivatives and polymeric thickeners.
In formulation practice, Hydrotensyl Complex is added after the base system is formed or during the cooling stage. It integrates easily into aqueous and emulsion systems. Gentle mixing is recommended to ensure uniform dispersion.
Usage levels are defined by technical specifications and adjusted by the formulator depending on formulation requirements.
Example formulation: Hydrating skin gel
Purified water 66 ml
Hydrotensyl Complex 5 g
Propanediol 5 g
Xanthan gum 1 g
Glycerin 4 g
Panthenol 2 g
Cucumber extract 10 ml
Preservative 1 g
pH adjuster 6 g
Process: xanthan gum is dispersed in purified water to form a gel structure. Propanediol and glycerin are added with mixing. After stabilization, cucumber extract and panthenol are incorporated. During the cooling stage, Hydrotensyl Complex is added. Preservative is introduced and pH is adjusted. The formulation is mixed until homogeneous and filled.
Example formulation: Lightweight water-based serum
Purified water 70 ml
Hydrotensyl Complex 5 g
Cornflower hydrolate 10 ml
Betaine 4 g
Panthenol 2 g
Niacinamide 2 g
Preservative 1 g
pH adjuster 6 g
Process: hydrolate and betaine are dissolved in purified water under mixing. Niacinamide and panthenol are then incorporated. After stabilization, Hydrotensyl Complex is added during the cooling phase. Preservative is introduced and pH is adjusted. The formulation is mixed until uniform and filled.
Hydrotensyl Complex is a versatile hydrating active that supports stable formulations and consistent distribution of ingredients across different cosmetic and production systems.
