Hyaderm multiphase hyaluronic complex for emulsion stabilization and moisturizing cosmetic formulations
Hyaderm is a multifunctional cosmetic ingredient containing crosslinked sodium hyaluronate combined with lipid components and an emulsifying system. This composition allows the ingredient to function as a structural and sensory modifier in modern emulsion and gel based formulations. Hyaderm integrates easily into complex formulations including creams, serums, fluids and gels, providing structural stability and uniform distribution of components. The combination of aqueous and lipid elements makes it suitable for both laboratory development and industrial manufacturing processes. The ingredient is used in skin and body care formulations and supports improved texture and formulation performance. It is widely used in private label development, contract manufacturing and large scale production due to its reproducibility and formulation stability.
Properties and formulation behavior
In cosmetic formulations Hyaderm contributes to smooth, elastic and uniform textures. In emulsions it enhances structural stability and consistency. In serums and gels it provides lightweight application and even spreadability. Crosslinked sodium hyaluronate forms a three dimensional matrix that retains moisture within the formulation and supports balanced sensory characteristics. Finished products provide a smooth and comfortable skin feel without heaviness.
Applications across industries
Hyaderm is used in cosmetic manufacturing in creams, emulsions, serums, gels and lotions. In skin care it is applied in facial and body formulations. In hair care it is used in conditioning systems and scalp care products. In SPA applications it is used in professional treatments. In pharmaceutical development it is used as a formulation component. In functional product systems it is incorporated into complex formulations. The ingredient is widely used in private label development, contract manufacturing and industrial production.
Recipe for lightweight skin fluid cream
Distilled water — 58 ml
Hyaderm — 12 g
Grapeseed oil — 12 ml
Glycerin — 7 ml
Emulsifier — 5 g
Niacinamide — 3 g
Cosmetic preservative — 1 ml
Preparation process
Distilled water is combined with glycerin to form the aqueous phase. In a separate vessel the oil phase is prepared by mixing grapeseed oil with emulsifier and heating until uniform. The oil phase is added to the aqueous phase under mixing to form an emulsion. Niacinamide is incorporated and mixed until dissolved. Hyaderm is added during the cooling stage and evenly dispersed. Finally the preservative is introduced and the formulation is mixed until a stable lightweight emulsion suitable for cosmetic manufacturing is obtained.
