Description and Key Features
Our Pink Exfoliating Scrub Granules, also known as exfoliating granules, peeling granules, cosmetic microspheres, or scrub powder, are expertly crafted for skin care. Unlike harsh abrasives, their carefully controlled size and smooth surface ensure a gentle, non-irritating exfoliation. The attractive pink color also adds visual appeal to your finished cosmetic products, enhancing their marketability.
Key features and benefits:
- Gentle Exfoliation: The precisely sized 0.2-0.4 mm granules provide a mild yet effective physical exfoliation, removing dead skin cells without causing micro-tears or irritation. This promotes a smoother skin texture.
- Improved Blood Circulation: The massaging action of the granules during application helps to stimulate blood flow, contributing to a healthier, more vibrant complexion.
- Non-Soluble: As insoluble particles, these granules maintain their exfoliating properties throughout the product's use, delivering consistent performance.
- Vibrant Pink Color: The distinct pink hue not only makes your products visually appealing but can also suggest a gentle or floral theme, attracting customers.
- Unlimited Shelf Life: This offers exceptional convenience and cost-effectiveness, as there's no concern about the product expiring.
- Made in Germany: Guarantees adherence to high-quality manufacturing standards and rigorous testing.

Pink Exfoliating Scrub Granules are a fantastic addition to a variety of rinse-off cosmetic products, designed to enhance skin texture and promote a healthy glow. (Not for use in candles.)
- Facial Scrubs:
- Ideal for creating gentle facial cleansers and exfoliants. Their fine size makes them suitable for even sensitive facial skin, helping to remove dead skin cells and reveal a brighter complexion.
- Combine with creamy bases for a nourishing and exfoliating facial treatment.
- Body Scrubs:
- Perfect for invigorating body scrubs that deeply cleanse, improve skin tone, and promote smoother skin. The pink color can complement fruity or floral body care lines.
- Integrate into sugar or salt scrubs to add visual appeal and a consistent exfoliating texture.
- Shower Gels and Cleansers with Exfoliation:
- Transform everyday shower gels into exfoliating powerhouses. These granules provide a mild scrubbing action during a daily shower, promoting gentle skin renewal.
- Create "2-in-1" products that cleanse and exfoliate simultaneously.
- Hand and Foot Scrubs:
- Effectively remove rough skin from hands and feet, leaving them soft and smooth. The gentle nature of the granules is ideal for these often-overworked areas.
- Pre-Shave Scrubs:
- Can be incorporated into pre-shave formulations to lift hairs and exfoliate the skin, helping to prevent ingrown hairs and ensure a smoother shave.
- Soap Bars (Melt & Pour):
- Add to melt-and-pour soap bases for visually appealing and functional exfoliating soap bars. The granules remain suspended in the soap, providing a gentle scrub with each use.
When formulating, ensure the base product provides sufficient suspension for the granules to prevent settling at the bottom, especially in thinner liquid formulations.

Instructions for Preparation:
- Sanitize: Thoroughly sanitize all your equipment (heat-resistant beakers, stirring rods, containers) with isopropyl alcohol and allow them to air dry completely.
- Prepare Phase A (Aqueous Phase): In a heat-resistant beaker, combine distilled water and glycerin. Gently heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F).
- Prepare Phase B (Oil Phase): In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine emulsifying wax, sweet almond oil, shea butter, and cetyl alcohol. Heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) until all solid ingredients are completely melted and clear.
- Emulsification: Slowly pour Phase A into Phase B while continuously stirring with a stick blender or whisk. Continue blending for several minutes until a stable emulsion forms and the mixture starts to thicken as it cools.
- Cool Down: Continue stirring occasionally as the mixture cools to below 40°C (104°F).
- Add Phase C (Cool Down Phase): Once the cream has cooled sufficiently, add the Pink Exfoliating Scrub Granules, fragrance oil, preservative, and Vitamin E. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly dispersed. Ensure the granules are well-distributed throughout the cream to prevent settling.
- Check pH (Recommended): Test the pH of your finished scrub. For a body scrub, an ideal pH range is typically 5.0-6.0. Adjust if necessary by adding a tiny drop of diluted lactic acid to lower pH or diluted baking soda solution to raise pH.
- Package: Transfer the finished scrub into a clean, sterile jar or tub.
Recommendations for Application and Use:
- Percentage of Granules: A 10% concentration of Pink Exfoliating Scrub Granules provides effective exfoliation for both face and body. For a milder facial scrub, you might use 5%, while for a more intense body scrub, you could go up to 15%.
- Suspension: The use of Xanthan Gum and the specific blend of waxes and butters in this recipe helps to suspend the granules evenly, preventing them from sinking to the bottom. If your scrub separates, you may need to adjust the gelling agent or add more co-emulsifiers.
- Application: Apply a small amount of the scrub to damp skin (face or body). Gently massage in circular motions, focusing on rough areas. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Frequency: For facial use, 1-2 times per week is usually sufficient. For body use, 2-3 times per week can be beneficial. Adjust based on skin sensitivity.
- Storage: Store the scrub in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. The preservative ensures microbial stability.
- Safety: Always avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Perform a patch test before first full use.
