Formulation Example: Golden Shimmer Body Lotion

Instructions:

1. Combine the ingredients of Phase A in a heat-resistant beaker and heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring gently.
2. In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine the ingredients of Phase B and heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring gently until the wax is completely melted.
3. Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a homogenizer or high-shear mixer until a smooth emulsion forms.
4. Continue mixing while allowing the emulsion to cool down to approximately 40°C (104°F).
5. Once cooled, gently fold in Phase C (Golden Glitter TS 105 and Vitamin E) until the glitter is evenly dispersed throughout the lotion. Avoid vigorous stirring to prevent clumping.
6. Finally, add the ingredients of Phase D (preservative and fragrance, if used) and mix well.
7. Adjust the pH of the final product if necessary (typically between 4.5 and 6.5 for optimal skin compatibility).
8. Transfer the finished shimmering body lotion into a clean container.

Application Recommendations:

Apply a small amount of the Golden Shimmer Body Lotion onto clean, dry skin and massage gently until absorbed. The fine golden glitter will impart a subtle, all-over shimmer. Avoid applying to broken or irritated skin. For external use only.
