Hydrotherapeutic Mineral Complex functional mineral ingredient for formulation
Hydrotherapeutic mineral complex is a water-based solution of mineral salts designed as a multifunctional raw material for cosmetic and industrial formulation. It contains a balanced composition of calcium, magnesium, sodium, bicarbonates, sulfates and chlorides, allowing integration into aqueous systems, emulsions and gel structures. The complex acts as a mineralizing functional ingredient that enhances formulation performance by regulating electrolyte balance and improving structural integrity. It shows high compatibility with emulsifiers, polymers and surfactants, making it suitable for manufacturing applications.
Properties and functional role
The complex functions as an ionic regulator influencing system stability and behavior. Calcium and magnesium contribute to structural reinforcement and network formation. Sodium and chlorides support moisture balance and osmotic stability. Bicarbonates stabilize pH and improve compatibility with actives. Sulfates enhance structural strength of formulations. It can act as a supporting stabilizer and rheology modifier in aqueous systems.
Properties and result
In finished products the complex improves texture consistency and stability. Emulsions become more resistant to separation, gels gain uniform structure and cleansing systems show smoother performance. It enables controlled distribution of actives and improves product stability during storage and transportation. Formulations demonstrate predictable behavior in production.
Purpose
The main purpose is to create mineral enriched formulations with improved stability and performance. It is used as a functional ingredient for structure correction, enhancement of actives and process optimization. It can be used as a base for aqueous systems or as a supporting component in complex formulations.
Application
Primary segment is cosmetic manufacturing and contract production of skin and hair care products. It is widely used in creams, serums, masks, cleansers and scalp care systems. In SPA applications it is used in treatment formulations. In cleaning industry it supports mild cleansing systems. In pharmaceutical and supplement development it acts as an auxiliary electrolyte component. In industrial manufacturing it serves as a stabilizing raw material.
Recipe Balancing mineral serum
Hydrotherapeutic mineral complex — 60 ml
Glycerin — 10 ml
Carbomer — 1 g
Xanthan Gum — 0.5 g
Panthenol — 5 ml
Niacinamide — 4 g
Phenoxyethanol — 0.8 ml
Euxyl PE 9010 — 0.7 ml
Purified water — up to 100 ml
Carbomer and xanthan gum are dispersed in water with mixing until full hydration, then the system is heated to achieve uniform consistency. Glycerin is introduced to form gel structure. The mineral complex is then added with gradual distribution. After temperature stabilization active ingredients and preservatives are introduced followed by homogenization. The result is a stable mineral serum with consistent structure.
Manufacturing stability
The complex provides reproducible performance during scale up and maintains batch consistency. It is stable under temperature variations and compatible with major emulsifier and stabilizer systems. Suitable for industrial production and automated manufacturing lines.
