EPS Seafill is a water based biotechnological complex containing Alteromonas ferment extract obtained through marine fermentation processes. The material appears as a clear to slightly opalescent liquid ranging from colorless to pale yellow. Fully soluble in water and incorporated into the aqueous phase of cosmetic formulations. Insoluble in oils and typically added during the cooling stage of emulsions or gels. The complex is compatible with humectants, hyaluronic acid, amino acids and polymeric thickeners. Purified water 480 ml
Glycerin 65 g
Betaine 30 g
Hyaluronic acid 7 g
Xanthan gum 3 g
Lactic acid 2 g
Preservative system 2 g

Xanthan gum is dispersed in purified water under continuous mixing until a uniform gel base forms. Glycerin and betaine are incorporated and mixed until evenly distributed. Hyaluronic acid is introduced and dispersed throughout the gel. Once the system cools below 40 degrees EPS Seafill is added and mixed until homogeneous. The preservative system is incorporated and pH is adjusted using lactic acid to a slightly acidic balanced range. The final product is a clear hydrating gel with smooth texture.
