Purpose	AC Kerazyme® is an all-natural, formaldehyde-free, keratin-based alternative to Brazilian hair straightening. Exposure to formaldehyde solutions causes health problems and limits styling options since this technology cannot maintain curls. AC Kerazyme® smoothes hair in the same way as formaldehyde-based products, but does not damage it, works in a hair-friendly pH range (from 4-7) and also protects hair from damage during styling. Unlike formaldehyde-based hair systems, AC Kerazyme® is an all-natural ingredient that can reshape hair while protecting it from styling damage. This unique component consists of a mixture of hydrolyzed keratin and Trametes versicolor extract. Trametes versicolor is a type of fungus that contains an oxidative enzyme called laccase. The enzyme is able to anneal disulfide bonds, which help increase hair strength. Hydrolyzed keratin further enriches and conditions hair, increasing its integrity.
