Instructions for Preparation:

1. Sanitize: Thoroughly sanitize all your equipment (heat-resistant beakers, stirring rods, balm tins/jars) with isopropyl alcohol and allow them to air dry completely.
2. Combine Phase A: In a heat-resistant beaker, combine Sage Wax, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Cetyl Alcohol.
3. Melt Phase A: Gently heat Phase A in a double boiler or microwave (using short bursts) until all ingredients are fully melted and well combined. Stir occasionally. Ensure the temperature does not exceed 70°C (158°F).
4. Cooling and Stirring: Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly, stirring occasionally. As it cools, it will begin to thicken.
5. Add Phase B: Once the mixture has cooled to below 40°C (104°F), add Vitamin E and your chosen essential oil blend. Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
6. Pour into Containers: While still pourable but beginning to thicken, carefully pour the balm into your prepared tins or jars.
7. Set: Allow the balms to cool and fully set at room temperature. For faster setting, they can be placed in a refrigerator for a short period.
8. Cap and Label: Once completely solid, cap the containers and label them.
