Diverse Applications and Areas of Use:
Ivory Pourable Candle Wax offers an expansive range of possibilities for creative projects:
-
Handmade Candles: This wax is specifically designed for crafting high-quality pourable candles, including:
- Container Candles: Ideal for pouring into various vessels like glass jars, tins, or ceramic containers, creating beautiful and long-burning candles. Its ivory shade acts as a perfect backdrop for vibrant colors or a sophisticated neutral tone.
- Pillar Candles: With appropriate wicking and molds, this wax can be used to create elegant, freestanding pillar candles that burn evenly and cleanly.
- Votive and Tealight Candles: Perfect for small, charming candles that offer a warm glow and can be easily customized with colors and scents.
- Sculptural Candles: Its consistent texture allows for intricate molds, enabling the creation of unique decorative wax sculptures and artistic candles.
-
Cosmetics and Cosmetic Products: While primarily a candle wax, its refined nature and solidifying properties make it suitable for specific cosmetic applications:
- Solid Perfume Balms: Provides a stable, non-greasy base for creating solid perfumes, allowing for a concentrated and long-lasting fragrance application directly on the skin.
- Lotion Bars and Body Balms: Contributes to the solid structure of lotion bars and body balms, offering a protective and moisturizing barrier for the skin. Its ivory color lends a natural, understated look to these products.
- Hair Pomades and Waxes: Can be used as a key ingredient in hair styling products, providing hold and a natural sheen.
- Cuticle Balms: Its emollient properties help to soften and condition cuticles.
-
Soap Making: While not a primary ingredient in traditional cold-process or melt-and-pour soap, ivory wax can be used in:
- Decorative Soap Embeds: Small wax shapes can be created and embedded into clear melt-and-pour soap bases for a unique visual effect, adding a touch of elegance to handmade soaps.
- Soap Toppers/Embellishments: Thin wax designs can be placed on top of finished soap bars as decorative elements.
-
Crafts and Decorating:
- Wax Melts and Tarts: Excellent for creating scented wax melts that can be used in warmers to release fragrance without a flame. The ivory color allows for clear coloring of the melts.
- Wax Sachets: Can be used to create aromatic wax sachets for freshening drawers, closets, or small spaces, offering a delicate, long-lasting scent.
- Decorative Embeds and Ornaments: Its smooth finish and ability to hold intricate details make it ideal for crafting small wax ornaments, decorative embeds for other crafts, or seasonal decorations.
- Sealing Wax (for decorative purposes on stationery/crafts): When melted and applied with a stamp, it can create elegant seals for invitations or craft projects, offering a classic touch.

Instructions:
- In a heat-resistant double boiler, combine all ingredients from Phase A (Ivory Pourable Candle Wax, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil).
- Gently heat the mixture over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until all waxes and butters are completely melted and the mixture is clear and homogenous.
- Remove from heat. Allow the mixture to cool slightly (it should still be liquid but not scalding hot, around 60-65°C / 140-149°F).
- Add the ingredients from Phase B (Fragrance Oil and Vitamin E Oil) to the melted wax mixture. Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution of the fragrance and vitamin E.
- Carefully pour the liquid balm into clean, small containers (e.g., small tins, twist-up tubes, or glass jars).
- Allow the solid perfume balms to cool completely and solidify at room temperature. For faster setting, you can place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Application Recommendations:
Gently rub a small amount of the solid perfume balm onto pulse points (wrists, neck, behind the ears), décolletage, or anywhere you desire a subtle, long-lasting fragrance. The warmth of your skin will help release the aroma. Reapply as needed throughout the day. This balm also provides a moisturizing benefit to the skin where applied. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain consistency and fragrance integrity.
