Tinovis GTC UP rheology control polymer for cream emulsions and gel texture formulations
Tinovis GTC UP is a multifunctional polymeric ingredient designed for viscosity management, texture refinement and stabilization of emulsion-based cosmetic systems. The material is incorporated into creams, gel emulsions, serum textures, cleansing products and hybrid formulations where controlled consistency and structural balance are required during manufacturing and long-term storage.
The composition based on Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer combined with Propylene Glycol, Ethylhexyl Stearate and Polysorbate 60 creates an integrated rheology system capable of supporting both texture development and phase stabilization. In formulation technology, the ingredient is used to improve internal distribution of components and create more uniform product architecture across water and oil phases.
In cosmetic applications, Tinovis GTC UP is used in moisturizing emulsions, gel creams, serum concentrates, cleansing systems, sun care products and hair formulations. Within hair care systems, it assists in maintaining smooth texture and stability in complex multi-phase compositions. In SPA-focused products, it is incorporated into gel and emulsion treatments. In industrial formulation processes, it is applied in systems requiring controlled flow behavior and stable structural performance.
Functionally, Tinovis GTC UP acts as a polymeric texture regulator that influences viscosity and interaction between aqueous and lipid phases. It contributes to smooth texture formation, improves emulsion stability and helps reduce the possibility of phase separation during storage and application. In gel systems, it supports formation of balanced structures without excessive heaviness or rigid consistency.
In formulation processing, the ingredient is typically introduced into the aqueous phase or used according to the selected manufacturing sequence. It is compatible with emulsifiers, vegetable oils, silicone materials, humectants and a broad range of active ingredients. Under optimized processing conditions, it enables creation of stable formulations with refined sensory characteristics and controlled spreadability.
Usage level is defined according to technical formulation requirements and adjusted depending on target viscosity, formulation structure and finished product performance.
Example formulation: Hydrating emulsion serum
Purified water 67 ml
Tinovis GTC UP 4 g
Grape seed oil 10 g
Squalane 5 g
Niacinamide 3 g
Glycerin 4 g
Panthenol 3 g
Preservative 1 g
Olivem 1000 emulsifier 3 g
Process: disperse Tinovis GTC UP into the water phase under continuous mixing until fully integrated. Prepare the lipid phase separately using oils and emulsifier. Combine both phases and emulsify until a uniform structure develops. During cooling, add niacinamide, panthenol and preservative. Continue mixing until the system stabilizes before filling.
Example formulation: Gel cream for emulsion systems
Purified water 70 ml
Tinovis GTC UP 3 g
Jojoba oil 8 g
Ethylhexyl Stearate 5 g
Glycerin 5 g
Beta glucan 2 g
Panthenol 3 g
Preservative 1 g
Green tea hydrosol 3 ml
Process: introduce Tinovis GTC UP into the aqueous phase until a smooth gel structure forms. Add lipid ingredients and perform emulsification under controlled agitation. After stabilization, incorporate active ingredients and preservative. Continue mixing until a refined homogeneous texture is achieved before filling.
Tinovis GTC UP is used in cosmetic systems requiring viscosity adjustment, texture stabilization and uniform structural development across emulsion and gel-based formulations.
