Scaling Skin Brightening Formulas for Continuous Production
The CO2 Extract Complex for Skin Brightening in a 1 kg pack is built for manufacturing lines that need a consistent volume of active raw material without supply interruptions. This ingredient belongs to the CO2 Extracts category, which brings together concentrated botanical extracts obtained through supercritical extraction without solvents. This gentle process preserves the plant fractions responsible for evening out skin tone and reducing the visibility of dark spots, without thermal degradation of the beneficial compounds.
The primary field of use is the cosmetic manufacturing sector, specifically the production of skincare products targeting hyperpigmentation, post-acne marks, uneven tone and sun-related discoloration. The complex is widely used in serums, day and night creams, emulsions, toners and masks intended for professional use in cosmetology clinics and spa centers. Another relevant direction is color cosmetics, where the extract is added to corrective bases and brightening concealers, along with dermo-cosmetic formulations aimed at supporting skin affected by photoaging.
When designing formulas, this complex pairs well with other CO2 extracts, making it possible to build multifunctional products. For additional antioxidant support, it is often combined with the Complex Berry CO2 Extract, while formulas aimed at brightening tone alongside preventing premature aging benefit from the addition of the Complex CO2 for Against Aging Skin. For formulations designed for mature skin with pronounced pigmentation, it is reasonable to include the CO2 extract Complex for mature skin, which reinforces the overall brightening and firming effect.
In production settings the complex is added at the final stage of emulsion preparation, at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, to avoid loss of activity in heat-sensitive compounds. The recommended dosage in finished products usually falls between 1 and 3 percent of the total formula weight, with the exact concentration determined by the formulator depending on the target function and combination with other active ingredients. The complex is compatible with most emulsifiers, plant oils, hydrolates and stabilizers used in modern cosmetic manufacturing, which simplifies its integration into existing production workflows.
The 1 kg packaging is intended for facilities working with large or recurring production batches, including contract manufacturing and in-house skincare lines. This volume allows companies to plan purchasing over longer periods and avoid quality fluctuations between batches, which is critical for formula stability in continuous production.
The complex should be stored in a tightly sealed container, in a dry and cool location, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources. Under proper storage conditions the activity of the component remains stable throughout the entire declared shelf life.
Industrial Brightening Emulsion Base
Distilled water 660 g
Plant-derived emulsifier 45 g
Grape seed oil 90 g
CO2 Extract Complex for Skin Brightening 25 g
Vegetable glycerin 35 g
Niacinamide 20 g
Broad spectrum preservative 8 g
Essential oil for fragrance 2 g
In a separate container combine the water phase with glycerin and niacinamide, then heat to 70 degrees Celsius. Heat the oil phase with the emulsifier and grape seed oil separately to the same temperature, then slowly pour it into the water phase while stirring continuously until a uniform emulsion forms. Cool the mixture to 38-40 degrees, then add the CO2 Extract Complex for Skin Brightening, the preservative and the fragrance oil. Mix thoroughly until fully homogeneous and pour into prepared containers.
