Product Description
Skinasensyl PW LS 9852 functional ingredient for sensory balance in formulations
Skinasensyl PW LS 9852 is a specialized cosmetic ingredient used as a raw material in advanced formulation systems designed to control skin reactivity and improve product stability. This functional ingredient is integrated into manufacturing processes as part of an active system aimed at improving compatibility and user perception. It demonstrates strong compatibility with emulsifier systems, stabilizers and rheology modifiers, making it suitable for a wide range of formulation designs. The ingredient is widely used in production environments where stability, sensory balance and formulation performance are critical.
Functional properties and role
Skinasensyl PW LS 9852 acts as a functional ingredient influencing skin perception mechanisms. Within formulation systems it maintains compatibility with emulsifier structures and does not disrupt system balance. It works effectively alongside preservatives such as Phenoxyethanol and Euxyl PE 9010 and does not negatively affect rheology when properly incorporated. It supports formulation stability when combined with other active materials.
Properties and result
In finished products Skinasensyl PW LS 9852 improves sensory perception and contributes to a smoother texture. It helps maintain emulsion stability and supports uniform structure. When combined with stabilizers such as Carbomer or Xanthan Gum it enhances structural consistency and long term product stability. The result is a balanced and stable formulation with improved user experience.
Purpose
The main purpose of this ingredient is to reduce skin reactivity and improve formulation tolerance. It functions as a balancing component in active systems, allowing formulators to develop more complex products without compromising sensory performance. It is particularly relevant in formulations designed for sensitive skin applications.
Application
The primary market is cosmetic manufacturing including creams, serums and lotions. In hair care it is used in scalp related products. In cleaning formulations it helps reduce harshness of surfactant systems. In fragrance products it improves compatibility. In SPA and professional care it is used in advanced formulations. It is also widely used in contract manufacturing and private label production.
Recipe Soothing emulsion for sensitive skin
Water — 70 ml
Skinasensyl PW LS 9852 — 3 g
Olivem 1000 — 6 g
Caprylic Capric Triglyceride — 8 ml
Glycerin — 4 ml
Xanthan Gum — 0.5 g
Euxyl PE 9010 — 0.8 g
The water phase is prepared by dispersing xanthan gum until fully hydrated followed by heating. The oil phase is prepared separately with emulsifier and heated. After combining phases homogenization is performed until a stable emulsion is formed. The active ingredient is added below 40 degrees with continuous mixing followed by stabilization. Preservative is added at the final stage.
Manufacturing stability
Skinasensyl PW LS 9852 provides consistent batch reproducibility and supports scalable manufacturing. It remains stable under mechanical processing and integrates easily into standard production workflows. The ingredient maintains formulation integrity across different system types.
