A Mineral Concentrate That Supports Cellular Energy in Skin
SEPITONIC M4 is an aqueous concentrate combining four mineral elements — zinc, magnesium, copper and calcium — formulated to activate energy-related processes within skin cells. This ingredient belongs to the Mineral Actives category, which brings together concentrated additives for functional cosmetics capable of restoring tissue tone and supporting cellular metabolism. Its main application area covers anti-cellulite, firming and body-contouring formulations, as well as products aimed at tired or sagging skin. The 100 ml packaging is well suited for laboratory testing, pilot batches and small to medium studio production runs, where formulators need to evaluate the mineral complex's performance before scaling up.
The minerals in SEPITONIC M4 act as cofactors in enzymatic reactions involved in cellular energy synthesis, which is why the ingredient is frequently used in body serums and creams designed to improve microcirculation and enhance skin firmness. Zinc and copper support skin barrier recovery, magnesium helps regulate vascular and muscle tone, while calcium plays a role in normal epidermal cell renewal. Thanks to this combination of actives, SEPITONIC M4 fits naturally into anti-aging and firming product lines that require a multi-level approach to skin support.
The ingredient should be added at the final stage of emulsion preparation, during the cold phase, at temperatures not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, to preserve the stability of the mineral compounds. Typical recommended dosage ranges from 2 to 5 percent of the total formulation weight, though the exact concentration should be adjusted according to the specific recipe and manufacturer guidance. SEPITONIC M4 pairs well with other functional actives — it is often combined with Oligoceane to enhance drainage effects in anti-cellulite formulas, and with Plandool-LG1, which adds a moisturizing and softening component to the formula. To stabilize texture and prevent clumping in powder-containing emulsions, formulators often rely on Magnesium Stearate, especially in formulas with dry powder fractions.
SEPITONIC M4 is used mainly within the cosmetic industry — in body creams, contouring serums, post-workout products, bust-firming formulations and anti-cellulite gels. It is also occasionally used in spa treatments and professional cosmetology lines where rapid metabolic stimulation is desired. The concentrate should be stored in a tightly sealed container, in a cool place away from direct sunlight, at stable room temperature to keep the mineral compounds from losing their stability.
When developing formulas with this active, it is important to consider compatibility with the final emulsion pH and to avoid strong oxidizing agents that could react with the mineral salts. Formulators also recommend introducing SEPITONIC M4 gradually with thorough mixing to prevent local concentration buildup within the emulsion.
Firming Body Serum with Mineral Complex
Distilled water 70 ml
Carbomer gel base 0.5 g
Glycerin 4 ml
Emulsifying wax 6 g
SEPITONIC M4 5 ml
Oligoceane 2 g
Preservative 1 ml
Fragrance oil 0.3 ml
Dissolve
the carbomer in distilled water and allow it to swell for about thirty minutes.
Warm the emulsifying wax gently to 40 degrees Celsius, blend it with glycerin,
then combine with the gelled water phase while stirring continuously. Once the
mixture cools to room temperature, add SEPITONIC M4 and Oligoceane, mixing
thoroughly until uniform, then incorporate the preservative and fragrance oil.
Transfer the finished serum into a clean container and let it rest for 24 hours
to allow the texture to fully stabilize.
