Product Description
Rosemary Oil Extract lipophilic botanical ingredient for industrial formulation systems
Rosemary oil extract is a concentrated botanical raw material obtained by extracting Rosmarinus officinalis in vegetable oils, transferring lipophilic fractions into a stable oil phase. This functional ingredient is widely used in formulation as a versatile component for oil based, anhydrous and emulsion systems. It is compatible with emollients and integrates into systems with Olivem 1000, Montanov 68, Emulsifying Wax NF and BTMS. Global demand is driven by Food and Beverage, aromatic systems, functional oils, candles, fragrance industry and contract manufacturing. In formulation it acts as a lipophilic functional ingredient.
Properties and functional role in formulation
The extract functions as a lipophilic botanical ingredient incorporated into the oil phase without additional solubilization. In emulsions it is stabilized with Olivem 1000 or Montanov 68 supported by Xanthan Gum or Carbomer. It is compatible with preservation systems such as Euxyl PE 9010, Phenoxyethanol and Geogard 221. In formulation it improves lipid distribution and system stability.
Properties and result in final product
In finished products the extract forms a stable lipid structure and improves texture. In oil systems it ensures uniformity. In emulsions it supports stable structure. In hair care it improves distribution. In complex formulations it enhances storage stability.
Application
The extract is used across industries. In Food and Beverage it is applied in oil systems. In flavor systems it is used as a component. In cosmetics it is used in skin and hair care. In hair care it is used in oils and masks with BTMS. In SPA it is used in massage systems. In cleaning it is used in specialized formulations. In pharmaceutical and supplement sectors it is used in botanical systems. In fragrance industry it is used in candles and diffusers. In private label it is widely used.
Recipe
Nourishing hair oil with rosemary extract
Jojoba oil — 350 ml
Grape seed oil — 300 ml
Rosemary oil extract — 200 ml
