To prepare the cream the Damask Rose Hydrolate and purified water are combined in a clean container. Xanthan gum is evenly dispersed over the surface and the mixture is left to hydrate fully, forming a gel base. The gel is gently mixed until uniform. In a separate container jojoba oil and Olivem 1000 emulsifier are combined until homogeneous. The oil phase is then incorporated into the water phase under continuous mixing to form a stable emulsion. Once the texture is stabilized Prodew 400 moisturizing active, niacinamide and aloe vera extract are added with gentle stirring until evenly distributed. At the final stage the preservative is introduced and the formulation is mixed until smooth and uniform. The finished cream is left to stabilize before use or filling.
