Instructions:

1. Phase A: In a beaker, slowly disperse Carbomer in distilled water while stirring to avoid clumping. Once fully hydrated, add Glycerin and heat to 70-75°C.
2. Phase B: In a separate beaker, combine Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, and Polysorbate 60. Heat to 70-75°C until all ingredients are melted and homogenous.
3. Emulsification: Slowly add Phase B to Phase A while continuously stirring. Maintain the temperature at 70-75°C and mix well for 10-15 minutes until a uniform emulsion forms.
4. Cooling: Remove from heat and allow the emulsion to cool to below 40°C while gently stirring.
5. Phase C: Once the emulsion has cooled, gently fold in Pearl Ex Imitation Metal, Rustic 659, ensuring even dispersion.
6. Phase D: Add Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin and mix well.
7. pH Adjustment: Check the pH of the formulation and adjust to the desired range (typically 5.0-6.0) by slowly adding Triethanolamine while monitoring with a pH meter or strips.
