2. Prepare Gelling Agent (Phase A): In a clean beaker, mix the glycerin with the xanthan gum. Stir well to create a slurry. This helps prevent clumping when adding water.
3. Form the Gel (Phase A): Gradually add the distilled water to the glycerin/xanthan gum slurry while continuously stirring with a mini-mixer or whisk. Mix until the xanthan gum is fully dispersed and a clear, uniform gel forms. This may take a few minutes.
4. Cool Down: Allow the gel to cool down to below 40°C (104°F). This is crucial as Physiogenyl and other active ingredients are heat-sensitive.
