Instructions:

1. Combine the water and glycerin (Phase A) in a heat-resistant beaker and heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring gently.
2. In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine the cetearyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, and shea butter (Phase B). Heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring until the solids are completely melted.
3. Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a homogenizer or high-shear mixer until a smooth emulsion forms.
4. Continue stirring while allowing the emulsion to cool down to approximately 40°C (104°F).
5. Once cooled, gently fold in the Fragrance Oil Lacoste Original Fragrances and Vitamin E (Phase C) until evenly distributed.
6. Add the preservative (Phase D) and mix well.
7. Check and adjust the pH of the lotion if necessary to ensure optimal skin compatibility (typically between 5.0 and 6.0). Use a diluted sodium hydroxide solution to increase pH if needed, adding it drop by drop and checking with a pH meter or strips.
8. Transfer the finished body lotion into a clean container.
