Cosmetic Formulation Example: Glamorous Magnolia Body Lotion

Instructions:

1. Combine the water and glycerin (Phase A) in a heat-resistant beaker and heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring gently.
2. In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine the cetearyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, and shea butter (Phase B). Heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring until the solids are completely melted.
3. Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a homogenizer or high-shear mixer until a smooth emulsion forms.
4. Continue mixing while allowing the emulsion to cool down to approximately 40°C (104°F).
5. Once cooled, gently fold in the Fragrance Oil - Flora by Gucci Glamorous Magnolia (Phase C) and Vitamin E (part of Phase D) until evenly distributed.
6. Add the preservative (remaining part of Phase D) and mix well.
7. Check the pH of the lotion and adjust it to approximately 5.5 using a diluted sodium hydroxide solution (Phase E), if necessary.
8. Transfer the finished Glamorous Magnolia Body Lotion into a clean container.

Apply a generous amount of the Glamorous Magnolia Body Lotion onto clean, dry skin and massage gently until fully absorbed. For a longer-lasting and more intense fragrance experience, layer with other products scented with Flora by Gucci Glamorous Magnolia. Use daily or as needed to keep skin feeling soft, hydrated, and beautifully scented. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
