Formulation Example: Shimmering Body Lotion "Golden Fame"

Instructions:

1. Combine the water and glycerin (Phase A) in a heat-resistant beaker and heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring gently.
2. In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine the cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate SE, caprylic/capric triglyceride, and jojoba oil (Phase B). Heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) while stirring until the solids are completely melted.
3. Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a homogenizer or high-shear mixer until a smooth emulsion forms.
4. Continue stirring while allowing the emulsion to cool down to approximately 40°C (104°F).
5. Once cooled, gently fold in the Fragrance Oil Fame Parfum Rabanne and the mica blend (Phase C) until evenly dispersed.
6. Finally, add the preservative (Phase D) and mix well.
7. Adjust the pH of the final product if necessary (typically between 5.0 and 6.0 for optimal skin compatibility).
8. Transfer the shimmering body lotion into a clean container.
