Instructions:

1. In a heat-resistant beaker, combine all ingredients from Phase A (Distilled Water, Glycerin). Heat gently in a double boiler until warm (approx. 70°C / 158°F).
2. In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine all ingredients from Phase B (Emulsifying Wax NF, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter). Heat gently in a double boiler until all ingredients are completely melted and clear (approx. 70°C / 158°F).
3. Slowly pour Phase A (water phase) into Phase B (oil phase) while continuously stirring with a stick blender or high-shear mixer. Blend until a smooth, uniform emulsion forms.
4. Continue to mix while allowing the lotion to cool down to approximately 40°C (104°F). This continuous mixing helps the emulsion to thicken and stabilize.
5. Once cooled, add the ingredients from Phase C (Fragrance Oil "Born In Paradise Escada", Preservative, Vitamin E). Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly dispersed.
6. Perform a pH test and adjust if necessary (target pH 4.5-6.5 for skin products).
7. Transfer the finished lotion into clean, sanitized bottles or jars.

Application Recommendations:

Apply a generous amount of the Tropical Paradise Body Lotion to clean, dry skin all over your body. Massage gently until fully absorbed.
