Cosmetic Recipe: Tranquil Oolong Tea Body Mist

Ingredient Quantity (by volume)
Distilled Water 90 ml
Witch Hazel Hydrosol (Alcohol-Free) 5 ml
Vegetable Glycerin 3 ml
Oolong Tea Essential Oil 1.5 ml
Polysorbate 20 (Solubilizer) 0.5 ml

Instructions:

  1. In a clean glass beaker, combine the distilled water and witch hazel hydrosol.
  2. In a separate small container, mix the Oolong Tea Essential Oil with the Polysorbate 20. Stir gently until the essential oil is fully dissolved. Polysorbate 20 helps to ensure the oil disperses evenly in the water-based mixture.
  3. Slowly add the essential oil-polysorbate 20 mixture to the water and witch hazel, stirring gently.
  4. Incorporate the vegetable glycerin and stir until all ingredients are well combined and the mist appears clear.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into a clean spray bottle.

  • Close your eyes and lightly mist the body toner over your body after showering or anytime you desire a refreshing and subtly fragrant experience.
  • Allow the mist to air dry or gently pat it into your skin.
  • Use throughout the day to refresh and subtly scent the skin.
  • Store the body mist in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.
  • Perform a patch test on a small area of skin before widespread use to check for any potential sensitivity to the essential oil.
