NUF Lactone 50 ml

NUF Lactone moisture regulating functional ingredient for cosmetic formulation systems

NUF Lactone is a water soluble raw material used as a functional ingredient in modern cosmetic formulation. It belongs to natural moisturizing factor components and provides stability of the water phase and uniform structure of the product. The ingredient integrates into gel, emulsion and aqueous systems ensuring controlled moisture distribution and compatibility with various actives. Due to its versatility it is widely used in manufacturing of skin care and hair care products.

Properties and functional role

NUF Lactone acts as a regulator of water activity and stabilizer of formulation. It improves distribution of components and supports system stability. It is compatible with polymers, actives and emulsifiers.

Properties and result

Formulations become more stable and uniform. Gels gain elasticity and emulsions maintain structure without separation. Sensory performance is improved.

Purpose

Used to create moisturizing formulations and stabilize product structure.

Application

Primary segment is cosmetic manufacturing. Used in serums, creams, gels, masks, shampoos and conditioners. Also applied in SPA and industrial systems.

Recipe Moisturizing gel system

Purified water — 66 ml
NUF Lactone — 5 ml
Glycerin — 9 ml
Carbomer — 0.7 g
Xanthan Gum — 0.3 g
Betaine — 3 g
Panthenol — 3 ml
Allantoin — 0.5 g
Phenoxyethanol — 0.8 ml
Euxyl PE 9010 — 0.7 ml

Carbomer and xanthan gum are dispersed in water followed by heating. Glycerin and NUF Lactone are added, then actives and preservatives are introduced and homogenized to obtain stable gel.

Manufacturing stability

NUF Lactone provides stable performance and compatibility with multiple systems.
