When the bark is wounded, the tree exudes a fragrant balsam known as American storax or sweetgum balsam. Add 8 ml of sweet orange oil, 4 ml of cedarwood oil and 3 ml of Liquidambar oil, stir until uniform and fill into a diffuser bottle with reeds. Check the scent throw after two and after seven days.
