Recipe for a basic moisturizing cream with Emulpharma® 165

Purified water 70 ml
Emulpharma® 165 6 g
Sweet almond oil 12 ml
Cetearyl alcohol 3 g
Glycerin 4 ml
Preservative system 1 ml

Glycerin is added to purified water and heated to processing temperature. In a separate vessel Emulpharma® 165 is melted together with cetearyl alcohol and sweet almond oil to form the oil phase. The oil phase is gradually incorporated into the water phase under continuous mixing until a stable emulsion is formed. After cooling the preservative system is added and mixed until full stabilization.
